Jerry Quarry was a professional boxer who was born on May 15, 1945, in Bakersfield, California.

He had a height of 6 feet and was great advantage for him during bouts. He had 66 bouts of which 53 were wins. Out of the 53, 32 were technical knockouts of which 23 were by decisions. He also had 9 loses and 4 draws.

He was born to Jack and Arwanda Quarry. When Jerry was still a little child, the family relocated to Bellflower, California.
His father gave him his first set of boxing gloves when he was five years old. Jerry soon started his workout. The majority of Jerry’s boyhood was spent relocating to various Californian communities. From the second to the eleventh grade, he had gone to 30 different schools.
He died at the age of 53 on January 3, 1999 due to complications of cardiac arrest.
