Megan Thee Stallion Accused Of Betrayal By Breakfast Club Hosts For Speaking To White Publication
Megan Thee Stallion has spoken about the Tory Lanez shooting incident a number of times over the last few months, however, where she aired out it recently – and perhaps most in-depth – was during an interview with GQ Magazine.
Additionally, Megan also wrote about it in a New York Times op-ed and shared her version of the story on her Instagram Live more than once. The Breakfast Club, however, criticized Megan and her camp for not allowing them to talk about it honestly.
Reportedly, DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God expressed their frustration and disbelief over having heard that Megan was open and honest about her experience with Tory when she spoke with reporters from GQ.
According to both parties, The Breakfast Club were told loud and clear that they were not allowed to speak to Megan about what happened between her and Tory. Envy and Charlamagne Tha God said they had no problem talking to “white publications” about what had happened, however.
Charlamagne Tha God expressed his shock over having heard that Megan told GQ nearly everything they wanted to know, yet, she wasn’t allowed to speak to them about any of that during her planned appearence on The Breakfast Club.
Charlamagne went on to say that she was supposed to stop by their show but they had a long list of things they weren’t allowed to discuss, so they wound up just canceling it, because what good is having a conversation where nothing can be said?
Charlamagne and DJ Envy insinuated that “black media” has been supporting Megan and her career from the beginning, whereas GQ and “white publications” are merely expressing an interest in what happened between her and Tory rather than the shooting. Angela Yee then noted that GQ did discuss her career at length.

C Tha God and DJ Envy did note, however, that maybe it had nothing to do with Megan Thee Stallion. In other words, it’s possible her label and management came up with a long list of things she couldn’t talk about, and it wasn’t actually Megan who made any of the demands.
